Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is capitalizing on the growing demand for live sports in streaming by launching TNT Sports, a new app combining content from TNT, TBS, and TruTV. The platform will offer both standalone streaming and bundled options, potentially including HBO Max. Shares ROSE over 2% as investors welcomed the move.

"That’s going to be a great additional monetization opportunity," said incoming Discovery Global CEO Gunnar Wiedenfels. The app is expected to launch next year following the Warner-Discovery separation, positioning the company to better monetize its eclectic sports content portfolio.
